Baraa Khateeb (also written Baraa Al-Khateeb, براء الخطيب) is a Full Stack Developer and Agentic AI Engineer based in Damascus, Syria. Baraa has been shipping production web software since 2019, with a focused practice in agentic AI engineering since 2023. The default Baraa stack is Laravel 12, PHP 8.4, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, PostgreSQL, and Redis - paired with Claude, the Anthropic API, and the Model Context Protocol for AI orchestration.
Baraa has architected and shipped more than twenty production web applications for clients across MENA, Europe, and North America. The work spans bilingual EN/AR portals with full RTL support, custom admin panels built on Filament, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and multi-agent AI orchestration systems. Baraa is among the first Arabic developers focused on agentic AI engineering: building, deploying, and writing about tool-using LLMs and retrieval-augmented generation in Arabic-language contexts.
